| We are extremely excited to announce some incredible additions to the 2010 Nelsonville Music Festival line-up that takes place on May 14 - 16. The Swell Season, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings & Billy Joe Shaver!
Academy Award winners The Swell Season will close out the festival on Sunday, May 16. The Swell Season are Glen Hansard from The Frames and singer/pianist Marketa Irglova and performed in the Academy Award winning movie, ONCE. Their full band will also be performing at this show.
The 'Queen of Soul', Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings will play a late night set on Saturday, May 15 (after headliner Loretta Lynn). Sharon & The Dap-Kings have played every major festival in the U.S., including Central Park's SummerStage, Coachella, Lollapalooza, Roskilde, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits Festival and WOMAD. Now, you can see them in Nelsonville.
If that isn't enough, the original Honky Tonk Hero, Billy Joe Shaver and his band will also perform on Saturday, May 15 directly before Loretta Lynn.
