The Coal Cave Hollow Boys credit their unique sound by the differing backgrounds of each member. Thomas Adams has played music professionally for 10 years. Thomas has played in metal, classic rock, country, and many other genres. Lincoln Mash may be the group’s youngest member, but if you closed your eyes you would guess he were the oldest. Don’t let his young age fool you; he has been playing professionally for several years. Peter Mendenhall has played Upright and Electric Bass in many of Ohio’s premier bands including Hocking River String Band and Yellow Paper Planes. Jason Cochenour has played banjo and fiddle with “Strung Up,” one of Ohio’s premiere bluegrass bands for years. He is now pulling double duty and playing with The Coal Cave Hollow Boys.
