"We wanted to use this opportunity to give you a live show like you haven't been able to see from us before when we're so far away on stage. We are going to bring you behind the pedals, into all the gritty details of how we make live music. We're leaving the sonic warts on so that you can be assured that we are not airbrushed (though the lighting is really cool.). Missing live music? Stop by Stuart's Opera House in Nelsonville, Ohio on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 7:30pm to see Old Seed! Old Seed is Zeke Hutchison, Matt McElroy, and Joe Burdock having a fun time playing tunes from the region and remembering players who played the music in the past. They are all neighbors in the western part of Athens County, Ohio.

In-person tickets are free and first come, first served. Only 100 in-person tickets are available to ensure guests can maintain a social distance. Guests must wear masks. This show is also available to watch virtually at stuartsoperahouse.org!

Hi everyone and happy Friday.

As many of you have guessed, the Nelsonville Music Festival is not happening in June of this year.

We wanted nothing more than to bring our friends and family together, under the early summer Ohio sky, and remind all of us that we have more things in common than we sometimes remember. We all love and need live music, art, and community. We will be that community for you again, but just not in person this coming June.

NMF always has and always will err on the side of safety. We truly appreciate your continued patience and understanding. Please stay tuned as we hope to roll out smaller events later this summer and fall.

We are so pleased to release the final archived set from the Virtual Nelsonville Music Festival featuring Ohio natives, CAAMP. This performance is riddled with connections to the band's roots as it was filmed at the local Strouds Run State Park and bassist Matt Vinson was actually a student intern with the Gladden House sessions at the Nelsonville Music Festival.
